24/3/10: Day 83
I really made a mess of todays shot. I should have headed out on my own at lunch, but instead spent it editing photos. I was heading to Manchester to watch City after work and was unsure if to risk taking it to the ground. I decided against it and really needed a shot. I didn't want to show of my camera in the car park, just in case I got it nicked. So had to stealth shoot. This was the result :(

23/3/10: Day 82
Today, I was without car, so Myk kindly drove. We just went to the church in Ossett to get some shots. I chose this one for todays photo, I like the composition and the alignment - something which I am becoming more aware of throughout this project.

22/3/10: Day 81
I headed home after work without a shot for the day. Kat was working back late, so I decided to go for a drive on the way home to see if I could get a decent shot.
I was livid with myself earlier in the journey, coming over Saddleworth, the sky was amazing. There was a mix of blue sky over the Yorkshire side and then a massive black cloud over the Manchester side. I was debating if to turn off and take a shot, but decided against it. Shortly after I saw how big the black cloud was, it didn't seem possible to get a decent shot with the weather being so bad. However - I was pretty wrong. The sky just paved way for a dramatic sunset. I managed to get this before getting soaked.

21/3/10: Day 80
I dragged Kat out for a little walk today. We went to one of the fields behind out house to take a look at some horses. I tried to learn from my last landscape shot by shooting a variation of sky and land - I think as I was shooting into the sunlight, I have lost a little of the detail on the horses. I may need to take 2 shots in future and mesh them together later on to get the best of the sky (short exposure) and the best of the land (long exposure). I'm still learning!

18/3/10: Day 77 - Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Today I got robbed. Not physically, but paying £4 to park at the sculpture park for 30 mins was a bit ridiculous. Ah well, I really like this shot, so it was well worth it I suppose.

We had a rogue bird on set today! Cheers to Myk for letting me use his telephoto lens, however I did repay him by forcing the Pheasant into a block of flats. Win.

15/3/10: Day 74
Myk and I headed down to Horbury at lunch to check out a potential site. Unfortunatly, it was fenced off, so we headed down towards the river. It was quite a dull afternoon in terms of finding things to shoot. I think this is the best of the lot, although it is somewhat busy for my own liking.

14/3/10: Day 73: Sunset
This is probably one of the reasons why I can't wait to get down to Cornwall in the summer. I think the sunsets will be brilliant to photograph (that is if I am not sat getting drunk whilst having a BBQ). Anyway, this shot was from my bedroom window in Mobberley. I think the sun. sky and clouds in this shot are beautiful.

12/3/10: Day 71 - Bye bye Astra.
11/2/10: Day 70
We went for a lunchtime trip to Newmillerdam today. I have selected this photo just because it's something different to what I have been doing recently. I think I need to develop my landscape shooting as well, so it's a good place to start.
From this one, I have already realised my mistakes. I should have moved closer to the floor and shot more of the sky as well.

9/3/10: Day 68 - The Emetts
So, Myk asked me to help him out by taking some photos of his family. I hope I got what they wanted. I need to learn to loosen up when directing people for shots. At the minute I am a bit reluctant to say what I want to do straight away. I'm sure it'll come with a bit more experience.
I quite like the resulting shot though. It's composition is just right for what I wanted to achieve - although Jacobs gone a bit lazy, bless him.

7/3/10: Day 66
It was lovely once we got back home to Mobberley. I can't wait to be settled in the house so that I don't waste opportunities to take nice photos in the fading light. Summer will soon be here, thats just what I need.
Anyway, this one was a real coop...

5/3/10: Day 64 - Joe Mercer
The day of failure lead me to CoMS. I had cocked up the journey to work, ending up with a 45 minute detour to Bradford. Joy. On the way home, I could be bothered waiting in traffic, so I thought I'd go to the City Store to get the away shirt. I arrived to find that the store was shut. Joy.
Not a wasted journey though. If I had parked within the stadium grounds, I would have had a nice silouhette shot, but I couldn't be arsed doing a lap of the stadium. Brilliant sunset though.

2/3/10: Day 61
Today we ventured out to Pugneys in Wakefield. Got nipped by a swan, that was fun. 40p well spent on some bird feed and a nice selection of photo's. I especially liked this one of a Canadian Goose.
