13/4/10: Day 103

This morning I had to stop on the way to work to take a photo of the sunrise. It was beautiful! I think I need to get out one morning in this sort of light to take some photos.

2/4/10: Day 92 - Worcester Cathedral

Thursday evening Katie and I headed to Shrewsbury and the following day, we drove down to Worcester to spend the weekend there. Katie went to Good Friday mass, so I had a walk around Worcester, sun was out briefly while I was out, I got absolutly wet through on the way home though. Glad it held out for this shot.

1/4/10: Day 91 - 1/4 of a year gone

We are a quater of the way into the year and the project is still going strong.

Myk and I headed out at lunch to nowhere in particular. It was blooming cold and we missed a couple of opportunities while we were out. One good thing, was the sky - the clouds were being blown across it quite quick, so there was plenty of opportunities for bold sky and cloud shots. I have taken some panoramic shots as well which I will use to play around with in Photoshop when I get the chance.

21/3/10: Day 80

I dragged Kat out for a little walk today. We went to one of the fields behind out house to take a look at some horses. I tried to learn from my last landscape shot by shooting a variation of sky and land - I think as I was shooting into the sunlight, I have lost a little of the detail on the horses. I may need to take 2 shots in future and mesh them together later on to get the best of the sky (short exposure) and the best of the land (long exposure). I'm still learning!

15/3/10: Day 74

Myk and I headed down to Horbury at lunch to check out a potential site. Unfortunatly, it was fenced off, so we headed down towards the river. It was quite a dull afternoon in terms of finding things to shoot. I think this is the best of the lot, although it is somewhat busy for my own liking.

14/3/10: Day 73: Sunset

This is probably one of the reasons why I can't wait to get down to Cornwall in the summer. I think the sunsets will be brilliant to photograph (that is if I am not sat getting drunk whilst having a BBQ). Anyway, this shot was from my bedroom window in Mobberley. I think the sun. sky and clouds in this shot are beautiful.

5/3/10: Day 64 - Joe Mercer

The day of failure lead me to CoMS. I had cocked up the journey to work, ending up with a 45 minute detour to Bradford. Joy. On the way home, I could be bothered waiting in traffic, so I thought I'd go to the City Store to get the away shirt. I arrived to find that the store was shut. Joy.

Not a wasted journey though. If I had parked within the stadium grounds, I would have had a nice silouhette shot, but I couldn't be arsed doing a lap of the stadium. Brilliant sunset though.

1/3/10: Day 60

Today Myk and I went for another walk. The clouds in the sky were amazing, so I had to pick a cloudy shot for todays picture.

16/2/10: Day 47

We went down to the locks on the canal today. Approaching from the otherside to where I had hit it last week.

13/2/10: Day 44

A day in Shrewsbury, a bloomin' cold day as well.

28/1/10: Day 28

Today, Myk and I headed down to Healey Train Depot again, this time we decided to get a little closer to the depot. We headed down and planned to approach the depot from the opposite side to where we saw it the first time.

We came to our first sleeper on a disused line. The picture did seem to me like something from Half Life, it's got a CG feel to it.
