21/4/10: Day 111

I decided to make the most of the good weather and headed out on my own at lunch. A few months ago I had been looking at Crigglestone Curve on the map and found that we had only really headed one way when we had been down there, so I decided to head the opposite way.

It's a really interesting area, you have the old railway lines and sleepers still down, the area is becoming really overgrown and the wildlife is slowly taking over. I imagine that come the end of the summer, some of the shots of the area could potentially be really good. A mixture of autumn light and overgrown railway, it'll be interesting!

Anyway, I was looking a little more at the detail in the area this lunch. It got me this shot:
